How It Started

Before designing the service, I needed to establish a clear positioning. To achieve this, I organized a meeting with the client where we collaboratively answered the key questions:

Who are we? Who is our audience?

1

A user-friendly CMS that eliminates the need to export data, allowing everything to be done in one place.

For whom: Advanced company employees who are proficient in using CMS or SaaS.

or

2

A semi-B2C product with a simple interface for anyone interested in verifying a company’s reliability.

For whom: Those who don’t use CMS or need customization, from job seekers to business partners.

We – Mass Market

For anyone seeking information. A simple interface with powerful capabilities under the hood. Non-advanced user.

In-Depth Interviews

We conducted a series of in-depth interviews with potential clients to better understand their needs and workflows. Here are key insights, showing which challenges and tasks matter most to them.

My role in this research included reviewing interview recordings, analyzing insights, and presenting them to the team. This helped identify key takeaways that can be used to improve our product and strategy.

Users Portrait

Based on all the interviews and insights gathered, I realized that our user is a professional who critically depends on accurate and timely data for decision-making.

Core Need. Access to Up-to-Date Data

The user is an analytically minded professional who critically depends on accurate and timely data for decision-making. They use information on companies, investments, shareholders, and financial metrics to:

• Assess company potential.

• Analyze previous funding rounds.

• Track key business events.

• Quickly identify new clients.

Searching

In the end, I decided that the most user-friendly approach was to keep an extensive set of filters always visible. To achieve this, I split the screen into two sections: on the left, I placed grouped filters, and on the right, I positioned the search results.

Company page

The first screen of the company page provides all the essential information at a glance, allowing users to quickly grasp the most important details. Additional pages contain more in-depth information, such as finances, management, and documentation.

Export

The user can export all necessary information to CSV, either for a single company or for multiple companies at once.

Result

The main result of our team’s work was the MVP version of the bringo.co.uk website. I was fully responsible for the design and created it from scratch, working closely with the team.

The main source of evaluation for our work comes from feedback from incoming clients and partners. Here are some of their thoughts:

Usually, we choose a service from the ‘sketchy’ and ‘not-so-sketchy’ options. But your website is genuinely good and user-friendly!

There’s no need for separate training—your website has an intuitive and simple interface that’s easy for the team to use.

We specialize in acquiring companies with debts and bankruptcies. It’s very convenient that we can apply filters for these parameters right away, significantly reducing search time.
