Fintech mobile app

Purpose of the Project

Due to evolving business needs, we identified the necessity to rebuild the mobile application to align with a new user flow and implement an updated user interface.

Alongside these business requirements, it was essential to incorporate feedback from users—primarily sourced through the helpdesk. As a result, significant UX enhancements were made across several screens to improve usability and address pain points.

Time to collaborate!

Throughout the redesign, I collaborated closely with mobile developers—sharing solutions and working together to implement them as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

Redesign and Rollout

The redesign began without a clear product vision, creating early confusion. With the arrival of a new CPO, the process gained direction, though much initial work had to be discarded.

We launched the updated app in stages, starting with Profile and Settings. As we moved toward the MVP version, verification was enhanced while some features, like account top-ups, were temporarily disabled due to account restrictions.

Result

Despite initial setbacks, the project achieved strong outcomes:

  • Improved UX led to better user engagement.

  • Faster development cycles enabled quicker updates.

  • Clear product vision aligned the app with business goals.

  • Stronger collaboration between design and development teams improved workflow and output quality.
